ATTENTION TIGERS! YEARBOOKS ARE HERE! 

Yearbooks will be distributed in a drive-through format on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 and on Thursday, June 4, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in front of the school.  Please wear a mask and remember to social distance during the pick up process. SVHS Class Meetings for students and their teachers for the remainder of this school year will continue to be in Google Meets at the following times and days during the week:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday
1st Period-9am-9:30 am
2nd Period 10am-10:30am
3rd Period11am-11:30am
4th Period 12noon-12:30pm
**IB schedule would alternate days (M-F) or continue the current schedule

Attention Seniors! 

SVHS wants to give a HUGE tiger thank you to Dr. Connelly and Cumberland County Schools! They will be purchasing a yard sign to recognize every senior in the Cumberland County School System! A brown paper bag with a green apple, a yellow banana and a sandwichChildren ages 18 and younger will be eligible for meals. They do not have to be a CCS student. For example, a two-year-old child can receive a meal. Students do not have to be present when parents/guardians pick up the meals.

Lunch will be provided for the current day and a breakfast for the following day (each student receives two meals).

Families may go to any location, regardless of where their child attends school.

Beginning Monday, March 30, 2020, yellow buses will be providing additional locations for the South View attendance area curbside pick-up meals between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., 

  • the corner of Hypony Trail and Desert Ridge Trail at 11:10am,
  • the corner of Hypony Trail and Hickory Ridge Road at 11:30am,
  • the corner of Belinda Lane and Style Drive at 11:50am
  • and the Cul de sac on Acutron Street at 12:15pm.

Back Cap and Gown with a black tassel Attention SVHS Seniors and Parents!

You will be able to pick up your caps and gowns on Thursday, May 7, 2020, from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at SVHS in front of the school. Due to safety, pull up in the front of the school, stay in your vehicle, and please provide the delivery team your student’s name. Items will be placed in your trunk or a bag with your items will be handed through your car window.

YOUR ORDER MUST BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO PICKUP. If you have a balance, only EXACT CASH will be accepted on the day of pickup. Due to safety, no change will be given. The payment must be in an envelope with the student’s full name written on it.

To request a copy of your invoice or to pay your balance, call the Jostens office at 1-800-JOSTENS. Once you receive the graduation items you may contact Jostens with any questions, sizing issues, etc.

ATTENTION TIGERS!
Today, in an effort to limit the spread of COVID-19, Gov. Roy Cooper announced that North Carolina Public Schools will remain closed for students through at least May 15, 2020. Later this week, Cumberland County Schools will share additional information regarding plans for virtual teaching and learning over the next several weeks.
“Our top priority continues to be the health and well-being of our students and employees,” said CCS Superintendent Dr. Marvin Connelly, Jr. “We will continue to identify ways to maintain strong connections with families while school buildings and offices are closed.”
