2 Hour Delay Monday, September 24th

Due to numerous road closures, flooding and hazardous road conditions that still exist, the Cumberland County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, September 24, 2018.

Wednesday, September 26th, 2018, will now be a full day of school for students who follow the Traditional Calendar. It will no longer be designated as an early-release day.

  • 2.75 GPA or Higher
  • Low Income(based off taxable income and family size) or First generation (or both)
  • Interest in Math & Science
  • Desire to go to college

Scholarship and College Information for School Year 2018-2019

  • Mrs. Lawson is our School Counselor has the responsibility for this school year to help the parent’s of this year Graduating Class of 2019 to learn about the several types of scholarship that are available for Seniors.
  • Our Seniors need to start applying for these numerous scholarship opportunities as soon as they return to school for the school year.
  • Additionally, she will be providing information about colleges that our Seniors may be interested in attending after graduating at 08:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at the Cumberland County Crown Coliseum.
