Orange tiger paw outlined in black with the words Welcome Back written in black in the paw.Welcome back Tiger Country! I hope you had an enjoyable summer break. We are looking forward to a great year of remote and blended learning. While this school year is unique and has some uncertainties, it is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where parents, teachers and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth.

To start the school year our students will attend class through Remote Learning. Below is a schedule that ALL students MUST follow. Unlike last spring, GRADES and ATTENDANCE will be recorded. It is imperative for ALL students to log on each day for their classes. Students will access CANVAS for all course work.

  • First Period: 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. (60 minutes)
  • Second Period: 9:40 a.m. – 10:40 a.m. (60 minutes)
  • Lunch: 10:50 a.m. – 12:20 p.m.
  • Third Period: 12:20 p.m. – 1:20 p.m. (60 minutes)
  • Fourth Period: 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. (60 minutes)

Please check your PowerSchool for your digital 2020-21 course schedule. Paper copies will not be mailed out. In preparing your schedule, every attempt was made to give you the courses you requested. As always the case, this was not possible for every student due to over enrollment in certain courses.

Schedule Change Requests will be made Online Only. If you would like to request a schedule change, please visit the South View High School Home Page and click on the Schedule Change link or go to https://forms.gle/CHPYUCeLs2FPFjXs9 to submit your request. Schedule change requests must be submitted August 10th- 12th, 2020. Counselors will not be available to discuss your request, so please document any details you would like for them to know on the Schedule Change Request Form. Please note that completing the Schedule Change Request Form is a request only. Please see the Schedule Change Request Form for further details.

All students will receive an electronic copy of the South View High School Student Handbook and a printed copy of the CCS Code of Conduct, along with other important information during laptop distribution. Parents, please review the handbooks with your student as your student is responsible for its contents. Laptop distribution will be at SVHS on:
