  • Prom is Friday, May 5, 2017, at the Botanical Gardens locate in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
  • The Prom is for Juniors and Seniors only.
  • Underclassmen will not be admitted.
  • Admittance into the Prom will be by ticket only.
  • Tickets can be purchased through Ms. Edwards, Prom Coordinator in room 254 or Mrs. Buie, Athletic Secretary.
  • Tickets will be $50 before winter break and $75 after winter break.

  • A Junior or Senior wishing to bring a guest outside of South View High School will also have to purchase a ticket for his/her guest, as well as completing an application. Applications can be picked up from Ms. Edwards.
  • The Prom will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017, at the Botanical Gardens. The Prom, a Junior class sponsored project, is the result of several months of planning during the early spring.
  • An elaborate theme, decorations, and popular musical selections are combined to honor the graduating seniors.
  • This is a formal event and students should dress accordingly.
  • Eligibility to attend the prom is based on the following criteria:
    • Only Juniors, Seniors, and approved guests under the age of 21 may attend.
    • All Juniors and Seniors must have a South View High School I.D.
    • Guests must be at least a junior in high school, have an approved application, proper identification, and purchase a nonrefundable ticket at the time the application is submitted.
    • Additional information will be forthcoming.
    • Final determination of guest approval rests with the Prom Committee.

    • They can choose which test they want to take.
    • These practice versions are longer than the actual tests.
    • For example, the English test is 71 questions.
    • Students can take at timed or untimed version.

WHAT IS D2X?
The Beasley Media Group’s “Driven 2 Excel” program is a community enhancement campaign designed to reward high school seniors in Cumberland County who achieve high levels of academic achievement and exemplary attendance records throughout the 2016 – 2017 school year. In conjunction with the Cumberland County School system and other community partners, Beasley Media Group has joined with Fayetteville Kia and Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union to reward qualifying students with fantastic incentives for scholastic performance.Save the following dates:

  • Mid-Year Celebration – Thursday, February 16, 2017
  • (Inclement weather date – Thursday, February 23, 2017)
  • End-of-Year Celebration – Tuesday, May 16, 2017
