As always, South View is committed to providing resources to our Tiger Families. The Military & Family Life Counseling and Youth Behavioral Counseling would like to extend their services to our Military families. They will be able to temporarily provide telehealth services to you and your children. These services include video and telephone (VTC) non-medical counseling in areas where face-to-face support is restricted due to COVID-19. For more information about this resource, please contact  Military & Family Life Counseling.

To the right of that written in blue are the words Phase II and just under those words in orange is Grades 9-12 High School. On the bottom written in black are the words Teacher-assigned content will continue to be provided to students in grades 9-12 digitally. New materials will be introduced beginning March 30.

Attention 9th – 12th Grade Students and Parents! 

  • Device & Internet Distribution – High school students will continue to receive their supplemental assignments digitally and will need a device and internet access. (NOTE: New materials and standards are being covered.)  Students who do not have a device or connectivity should contact the Cumberland@Home Technology Hotline at 910-678-2618 from 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Spring Break  As indicated on approved school calendars, the April 10th holiday and Spring Break will be observed.
  • Graduation 2020  In spite of COVID-19, the Class of 2020 will certainly graduate. District officials are uncertain about the timing of graduation ceremonies but are working closely with local and state officials to receive guidance. Additional information will be shared in the future.

Cumberland@Home was developed by Cumberland County Schools as a remote-learning experience that allows students to continue learning beyond the walls of the classroom during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional SV Curbside Pick-Up Meal Locations

A brown paper bag with a green apple, a yellow banana and a sandwichChildren ages 18 and younger will be eligible for meals. They do not have to be a CCS student. For example, a two-year-old child can receive a meal. Students do not have to be present when parents/guardians pick up the meals.

Lunch will be provided for the current day and a breakfast for the following day (each student receives two meals).

Families may go to any location, regardless of where their child attends school.

Beginning Monday, March 30, 2020, yellow buses will be providing additional locations for the South View attendance area curbside pick-up meals between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., 

  • the corner of Hypony Trail and Desert Ridge Trail at 11:10am,
  • the corner of Hypony Trail and Hickory Ridge Road at 11:30am,
  • the corner of Belinda Lane and Style Drive at 11:50am
  • and the Cul de sac on Acutron Street at 12:15pm.
